Auden was awarded the "1.5°C Enterprise" certification in Taoyuan City to align with international net-zero standards through scientific carbon reduction actions
The Taoyuan City Government and CommonWealth Magazine jointly held the “Taoyuan Enterprise 1.5°C Forum and Certification Ceremony” to commend local enterprises that serve as benchmarks in carbon reduction governance and climate action. Auden was honored with the “Taoyuan 1.5°C Enterprise” certification as one of 32 recognized companies. Mayor Chang San-cheng personally presented the certificate during the ceremony, symbolizing Taoyuan’s use of urban power to drive industries to jointly respond to the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C goal and demonstrating the city and enterprises’ determination to move toward net-zero.
Auden has long promoted organizational carbon reduction, product carbon footprints, and green energy introduction, with its professional sustainability team assisting SMEs with carbon inventories and reduction planning to meet international requirements such as CBAM. Simultaneously, Auden has invested in environmental education and local care, including green building headquarters planning, renewable energy educational board games, and school cooperation projects, extending climate action from the factory floor to the community and the next generation, thereby fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
