Sustainable Environment
Auden actively participates in the management of environmental issues, paying attention to climate change and global warming.
Through practical actions and education on renewable energy planning and energy conservation and carbon reduction, we plan annual carbon reduction targets, set short, medium, and long-term carbon emission reduction targets, and disclose climate change information and the risks and opportunities it brings in accordance with the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in response to the Carbon Disclosure Project. CDP and Greenpeace RE10X10 initiative.
| Short-term goals | The carbon reduction target for 2024 is to reduce CO2e/year by 6 metric tons. |
| Medium-term goals | By 2025, achieve the goal of 10% green electricity and obtain LEED and green building labels by 2026. |
| Long-term goals |
By 2035, achieve the goal of 100% green electricity. Achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. |
We have built an environmental management system with ISO14001, and continuously improve the relationship between all business activities, products, and services and the environment in the manufacturing process to reduce environmental pollution.
The Company ISO14001: The certificate is valid from June 24, 2024 to June 23, 2027.
Environmental Policy and Objectives: :
In response to international environmental trends, Auden took the initiative to join Greenpeace to initiate Taiwan’s corporate Green Dot initiative, which aims to use more than 10% of total electricity in 2025 and RE10X10 100% green electricity by 2050 for energy transition. In addition, in order to provide a guarantee of stable quality, the company has obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
TCFD:
Auden has established an internal control system and internal audit system, and established a risk management policy to implement integrated risk management related to environmental, social, and governance aspects of sustainable operations. With the increasing importance of extreme weather caused by global warming and the impact of energy and climate change issues in recent years, Auden needs to fulfill its corporate sustainability responsibilities in order to achieve sustainable development in the industry. According to the framework of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Auden is divided into governance, strategy, risk management, indicators, and goals, etc., and the Office of Sustainable Development identifies climate-related risks and opportunities, formulates follow-up response strategies, and reports to the board of directors regularly every year, and the board of directors monitors the implementation results.

Carbon reduction roadmap :
Zero Carbon Emission Policy:
According to ISO 14064-1:2018, Auden includes indirect greenhouse gas emissions from Category 3 and 4 transportation, including greenhouse gas emissions generated by employee commuting vehicles, and has been verified by a third party.
- Renewable energy facilities are deployed year by year to achieve the goal of green power.
- Replace old equipment year by year and replace energy-saving equipment.
- Promote one day a month as a plant-based day, reduce meat, and reduce the effect of global warming.
- The new headquarters will also pass LEED and EEWH dual gold certifications, fully introducing smart energy-saving systems.
- Greenhouse gas emissions in the past 3 years: (Bade Corporation) Unit: metric tons of CO2e

Relevant measures and achievements in energy use:
- Continue to promote electricity conservation.
- The temperature of the air conditioning equipment is set to 25-26 degrees, and the automatic shutdown time after work is set.
- Regularly track and manage electricity consumption data: Compared with 2023, the per capita electricity consumption in 2024 was 2,452 kWh/person, an increase of 4 kWh per person compared to the previous year, mainly due to the expansion of operating bases and the focus on electricity consumption every quarter.
- 19.8KW solar panels: In 2024, 29,445 kWh of green electricity was used, reducing carbon emissions by 14.55 tons, and 29 T-REC renewable energy certificates were obtained.
- To achieve the goal of using green electricity, a total of 82 renewable energy certificates (82,000 kWh of renewable energy) were purchased in 2024, accounting for approximately 25% of the annual electricity consumption of the Taiwan plant and reducing carbon emissions by 40.51 tons.
